Haacht Brewery launches SUPER 8 Blanche
Haacht Brewery, a Belgian family brewery with a rich history, has extended its SUPER 8 range with SUPER 8 Blanche. This white beer from the SUPER 8 family offers a refreshing kick, with freshly-ground coriander and plenty of orange peel.
SUPER 8
“The latest generation of Belgian beer drinkers is always interested in variation and new stimuli. They think of the world as one big global village, with diverse flavours, new discoveries and cultural influences. They also expect to see this variety reflected on menus when they go out for a drink. That is why we have developed SUPER 8, a national beer brand that offers quality, variety and the delicious kick of a new discovery”, says Boudewijn van der Kelen, Marketing Director of Haacht Brewery. “SUPER 8 is a delicious, familiar brand, offering a continuously expanding range of modern beers, which allows you to switch between familiar and lesser-known beer styles. Because every new SUPER 8 beers caters to that appetite for new flavours.”
It’s beer, but not as we know it
Haacht Brewery launched SUPER 8 in early February. The name refers to Haacht Brewery’s first range, from the days when Pilsner beers were still a novel product. After the gluten-free SUPER 8 Export and the well-balanced SUPER 8 IPA, SUPER 8 Blanche is the third beer in the series. Thanks to the plentiful use of fresh herbs, the SUPER 8 Blanche is an engaging interpretation of a familiar flavour.
“We love what we do”, says Boudewijn van der Kelen. “As an independent beer brewery, we will continue to launch new beers, inspired by innovation, ensuring the market remains modern, vigorous and exciting. And of course, we will always rely on our centuries-old Belgian brewing tradition and the passion and craftsmanship of our master brewer, Karel Vermeiren.”
The five other SUPER 8 beers will be launched at a later stage.
