With four silver medals, Haacht Brewery scores in all popular beer categories of the International Beer Challenge. For more than twenty years, this prestigious competition in London has been one of the world's most renowned beer competitions. These medals mean great recognition for Haacht Brewery and its diversified range of quality products and progressive service.

The International Beer Challenge is a competition that rewards and promotes the world's best beers. Breweries from 40 countries ventured into more than 80 categories this year. As such, the competition reflects the diversity of the global beer landscape. Haacht Brewery could not be missing among the award-winning beers this year either.

The organic SUPER 8 Pils immediately won a silver medal in the Lager - Pils category, placing itself alongside classic Primus, which also won silver in the same category. This is great recognition for the newcomer to the SUPER 8 range, which was only launched on the Belgian market in March of this year.

And it doesn't stop there. In the Ale - Belgian or Continental Style Blonds category, Haacht Brewery also took the silver medal with SUPER 8 Flandrien. Finally, Tongerlo Tripel won silver in the Ale - Belgian Style Strong Blonds category.

Lien Meeus, Managing Director Marketing and Communications explains the success of SUPER 8 Pils and Primus as follows: "Two silver medals in the fiercely contested Lager - Pils category demonstrates the high quality of our lager and confirms that our expertise is recognized worldwide. The competition in the lager category is tough. We are therefore very proud of these silver medals. In addition, the silver medal for SUPER 8 Flandrien underlines the quality of the playful and innovative SUPER 8 range. We also note that, for the second time this year, a jury of international beer connoisseurs expressed their appreciation for Tongerlo Tripel, which earlier this year already won gold as World's Best Belgian Tripel at the World Beer Awards. This is gratifying recognition for our employees who work day in and day out with a focus on quality and innovation."
